Efficient reduction of static on the lower amateur bands. Reduction of stress factor on trying to sort out the signal from white noise. Increases the pleasure of net involvement. suppresses to some extent reception of spurious sideband intrusion from over modulation of adjacent sideband transmissions. Clarifies woolly speech defect on modulation of callers transmission

I can now pick out sigs out of the noise I could not before especially on 1.8MHz. CW is most clarified

RX on 80 has become possible, before I just gave up.
I can now hear things that were just wiped out with noise before.
 

Also RX on 2M mobile is much better because it takes away background noise from the van etc...

The NES10-2 certainly made a vast improvement to my reception.
On 40M I was able to winkle out a station that was impossible to hear for the interference without the speaker.

Very good noise reduction on IC-R72 receiver. Mainly using an active antenna on short 40 and low 17 long wire.

Able now to comprehend signals which noise made difficult before.
Also clarifies speech on AM broadcasts.

NES10-2 removes all background noise on 40M and 80M at 7-8-30 AM where I listen.
It is usually S7-9 here and obliterates weak signals.
Now I can hear them again - marvellous
